Cutting Edge did a great job on all of my kitchen and bath cabinets. I was so impressed with their workmanship and installation. I had in mind of the style of hood that I wanted to install above my range. I gave him a photo of something similar. Jolsen did an awesome job of designing and building the hood. It turned out awesome! We worked together on the kitchen and bath designs. I was impressed with the quality of the cabinets and design of both the kitchen and baths. I spend a lot of time in my kitchen and love the layout. Great working kitchen!

Imagine if you could have the kitchen you always wanted... 

I never thought it was possible for me until I was lucky enough to meet Jolsen Dean - an amazingly detailed craftsman and an honest man of character and integrity who turned my dated and broken kitchen into a magazine-worthy masterpiece.  

Our old kitchen was over 20 years old, with an awkward layout  and broken, worn-out, and dated melamine cabinets.  When my built-in wall oven also  joined the big list of broken things, we realized that our only good choice was to put a nice new oven into some beautiful quality cabinets - it was time to start over with a better design than what we had, and install quality materials that would last. 

So, over the course of the entire next year, I met with several Cabinet shops  in the valley and showed them my original blueprints and ideas, but not a one of them was willing to take on our job because of the unique difficulties presented by our unusual 45-degree wall angles and uncommon floor plan.   Some of them flat refused to consider it, some of them offered me a basic L-shaped plan that didn’t fit into our space, and some of them ghosted me entirely. 

Frustrated and worried, I had almost given up hope by the time an acquaintance recommended Jolsen Dean -  an experienced woodworker and cabinet maker who had done jobs for my friend and was in the process of opening his own shop -  Cutting Edge Cabinetry.  That was my lucky day!  From our first meeting when he came to my home, Jolsen proved himself to be a detail-oriented perfectionist, and he worked long and hard to finesse a detailed and unique,  workable, personalized  cabinet plan that worked with our wall layout.  And then,  he actually brought it to life!  There was no question that the challenges were many, but Jolsen’s perseverance  and attention to every detail resulted in  the  final product - a  kitchen that is not only beautiful to look at, but is built  to last with outstanding craftsmanship and  cabinets that are solid, well built,  practical and so workable with storage galore and extra fun features.  In fact, Jolsen did such an impressive job that I had him follow-up by also building us a 16’ long hutch and bar along a wall of our dining room.  All of this work is so gorgeous and well-built that it still makes me happy every time I walk in! 

Jolsen and Cutting Edge Cabinetry represent the best this valley has to offer, and  I recommend their work without reservation. I feel like I won the lottery with these guys!
